Executive Roundtable Meeting

Meeting Update

Welcome to our Executive Roundtable. I want to thank all of you who have already volunteered to be part of our roundtable and would like to extend an invitation to those of you who might be interested in joining. It’s all on a volunteer basis.

We are a group of dedicated individuals who leave politics, competition and personalities at the door and who have the same goals in common; sharing information, preventing injuries and fatalities, teaching young people, new workers and now an aging workforce the importance of safety. We have leaders from:

· MIOSHA · Contractors · GM and other manufacturing industries · Wayne State · Iron Workers Local 25 · Engineering Society of Detroit · Associations · Michigan Safety Conference

Our objectives are to:

• Identify and develop Best Practices Industry-wide.
• Develop panel discussions concerning safety from design, through construction and into manufacturing
• Develop Podcasts and videos to be shared by all for their use for developing our young professionals
• Videos and Podcasts for High school and Middle outreach to define how career paths as Engineers, Apprentices in our Building Trades, Safety Professionals and Project Managers

We will be having our first meeting on Friday November 13, 2020 at 1:00. I have the invite below.

The purpose of our first meeting will be to · Introduce ourselves · Define our goals · Decide on best times for meetings and how often.

I hope you can all make and I’m looking forward to working with and learning from you. I will send an agenda for our meeting at the beginning of next week.
