Hey all…..
I want to thank everyone for being so patient and for the support I’ve received. As you all know I’ve had to take care of my mom for the last few weeks. I didn’t think she was going to make it, but she’s a tough ole girl for ninety!!! Long story short, We are moving her into a really nice facility across the road from where I live on Monday and she is doing a lot better.
We have a strong momentum going now with our committee and I don’t want us to lose it. I have a Zoom meeting scheduled for us for Thursday 10-15-20 at 1:00…Sorry for the short notice and I know some of you won’t be able to make it, but I hope you can. I will send out another reminder with all the minutes, reports, spreadsheets etc. that we have been working on:
- Safety Committee is up and running
- An executive roundtable is being formed
- Networking and joint projects with Associations and union trades
- Universities working with associations, societies and Govt agencies to promote round the clock safety -Work, home and on the road
- Reunion of Ground Person/Spotter training for second in the line of fire training series
- Safety Rocks Campaign
We have come a long way and I’m really excited. . I want to make a contact list for us, but I won’t release information without permission.
Just know that there are 154 individuals on this email from MIOSHA to MSP office Highway Planning to members of several safety committees that can link with ours, Universities, Automotive sectors, Manufacturing and industrial sectors, Engineers, Construction building trades, Safety Professionals, students…….and the list goes on!!!!
