This group will be part of a larger group of volunteers, consisting of several other roundtables and subcommittees including participants from The Greater Detroit chapter of ASSP, Engineering Society of Detroit, AGC, GM, Ford, MUST, CAM, Several Large Contractors, Michigan Safety Conference, Oakland University, Findlay, Wayne State, Lawrence Tech and Grand Valley.
We have a strong momentum going now and here are some of the projects we have been working on:
- Joint Safety Committee is up and running
- Networking and joint projects with Associations and union trades
- Universities working with associations, societies and Govt agencies to promote round the clock safety -Work, home and on the road
- Reunion of Ground Person/Spotter training for second in the line of fire training series
- Safety Rocks Campaign
I will be sending out an invite in the next few days for introductions and to discuss goals and objectives….Thanks, Doug
